In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, and egg.
Add chopped parsley, minced garlic, and grated onion; mix gently until just combined.
Sprinkle in oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix gently again.
Shape the mixture into meatballs about the size of golf balls.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and fry the meatballs until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; internal temperature should be at least 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatballs rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
