Ingredients
  

Pizza Base
  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce for garnish
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sour cream for serving
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños optional

Method
 

Prepare the Pizza Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit your baking sheet.
  2. Transfer the rolled dough to the baking sheet and press it into the corners.
Cook the Taco Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Spread the taco filling evenly over the pizza dough.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Bake the Pizza
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Fresh Toppings
  1. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños. Serve with sour cream.
