Ingredients
  

Protein and Vegetables
  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
Sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar for acidity

Method
 

Cook the Turkey
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Break the turkey apart with a spatula as it cooks.
Add Broccoli
  1. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir to combine with the turkey.
  2. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and rice vinegar.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli mixture, stirring to coat evenly.
  2. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  3. Serve hot in bowls.
