Ingredients
  

Sausage and Vegetables
  • 1 pound Italian sausage sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 medium bell peppers sliced (any color)
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the sausage, bell peppers, and onion.
Combine and Season
  1. On a large sheet pan, combine the sliced sausage, bell peppers, and onion.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Roast the Mixture
  1. Spread the mixture in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve warm, optionally with crusty bread or over rice.
