Method
Prepare the Oven and Broccoli
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a sheet pan, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Roast the Broccoli
- Spread the seasoned broccoli in an even layer on the sheet pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Cook the Tortellini
- While the broccoli is roasting, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
Combine Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, roasted broccoli, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
Bake the Dish
- Spread the tortellini and broccoli mixture back onto the sheet pan.
- Top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
