Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Broccoli
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a sheet pan, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Roast the Broccoli
  1. Spread the seasoned broccoli in an even layer on the sheet pan.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Cook the Tortellini
  1. While the broccoli is roasting, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, roasted broccoli, mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
Bake the Dish
  1. Spread the tortellini and broccoli mixture back onto the sheet pan.
  2. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  3. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
