Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or chicken)
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients by peeling and cubing the sweet potatoes and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the sausage until browned.
  3. Add cubed sweet potatoes to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pour over sausage and sweet potatoes.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve and garnish with chopped parsley.
