Prepare Cheese Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, pumpkin puree, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to firm up.
Shape and Coat
- Once the mixture is firm, shape it into a ball and then gently flatten the top to create a pumpkin shape.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed pecans and paprika. Roll the cheese ball in the mixture until fully coated.
Serve
- Transfer the cheese ball to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped chives to resemble a pumpkin stem.
- Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.
