Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce or any lettuce of your choice
  • burger toppings e.g., tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, cheese slices, avocado slices

Method
 

  1. Season 1 pound of ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide into equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the burger patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Wash and dry iceberg lettuce leaves to use as wraps.
  5. Place each cooked burger patty on a lettuce leaf and top with your favorite ingredients.
  6. Fold the lettuce around the burger and toppings to create a wrap, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
