Method
Prepare the Oven and Pan
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mix Wet Ingredients
- In another bowl, combine the milk, beaten egg, and melted butter. Mix well.
Combine Mixtures
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and chopped herbs until evenly distributed.
Bake the Bread
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
