Ingredients
  

Turkey Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
Make the Tzatziki Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, dill, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve
  1. Serve the turkey meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes
