Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup French onion soup store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Meatballs
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, French onion soup, bread crumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake the Meatballs
  1. Bake meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Add Cheese
  1. Remove meatballs from the oven and sprinkle shredded Gruyère cheese on top.
  2. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
