- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish (8x8 inches).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the baking soda and honey (or maple syrup) to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing into bars.
