Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 4 slices Bread Any type of bread
Eggs
  • 4 large Eggs Fresh eggs
Cheese
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese Or any preferred cheese
Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For frying
Salt and Pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 pinch Black pepper To taste

Method
 

Prepare the Toasts
  1. Toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden brown.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each toasted slice.
Cook the Eggs
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  2. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until whites are set but yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Toasts
  1. Place a slice of cheese on each piece of toast.
  2. Top with a cooked egg and serve immediately.
