Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar light or dark
  • 1/2 cup butter salted or unsalted, softened
  • 2-4 tbsp milk more or less as needed
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt omit if using salted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Heat treat the flour in the microwave or oven until it reaches 165℉.
  2. Cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine the heat-treated flour, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  4. Adjust the consistency with milk, adding one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Taste test the dough to adjust sweetness if necessary.
  7. Serve and enjoy the edible cookie dough straight from the bowl or in treats.
