Method
Prepare the Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
Make the Butter Sauce
- In a bowl, mix together melted butter, chicken broth, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
- Pour the butter sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
Add Vegetables
- Add chopped bell pepper, onion, and celery on top of the chicken and sauce.
Cook the Dish
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Serve
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce and vegetables.
- Serve hot over rice or with crusty bread.
