Prepare the Lamb
- In a large bowl, combine lamb pieces with cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the lamb evenly.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned lamb and cook until crispy and browned, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Cook the Rice
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the rinsed basmati rice and stir for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and add salt. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Serve
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve it on plates. Top with the crispy cumin lamb.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and lemon wedges. Enjoy your meal!
