Method
Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, combine the uncooked pasta, vegetable broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Add Cream and Pesto
- Stir in the heavy cream and pesto sauce until well combined.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Finish and Serve
- Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve immediately, garnished with toasted pine nuts and fresh basil.
