Cream Cheese Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
Cranberry Mixture
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries or canned, drained
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
Spicy Elements
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Cranberry Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
Mix the Cream Cheese
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Fold the cranberry mixture, chopped jalapeno, and green onions into the cream cheese until well combined.
Serve
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
