Prepare the Butter
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Mix in Sugar and Coffee
- Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined.
- Add the brewed coffee, heavy cream, and vanilla extract, then beat on medium speed until the frosting is light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Adjust Consistency
- If the frosting is too thick, add a little more cream; if too thin, add more powdered sugar.
Use or Store
- Use immediately to frost your favorite cake or cupcakes, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
