- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash the apples under running water, then slice around the core to create four large sections.
- Cut the apple sections into fry shapes, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Pat the apple fries dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
