Prepare Chicken Avocado Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mashed avocado, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Set aside the chicken avocado mixture.
Assemble Sandwiches
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, spread a generous amount of the chicken avocado mixture.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and another slice of bread, buttered side up.
Grill Sandwiches
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
