Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Dough
  • 1 can crescent roll dough or pizza dough
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted.
Assemble the Taco Sticks
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles and place a spoonful of the beef mixture on each piece.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serve
  1. Serve warm with sour cream and salsa on the side.
