Ingredients
  

Breadstick Dough
  • 1 cup Warm water About 110°F
  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast Or instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Granulated
  • 3 cups All-purpose flour Plus extra for dusting
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Cheese Filling
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese Softened
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For brushing
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt For sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon Dried parsley For garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Make the Cheese Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix together mozzarella, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
Shape the Breadsticks
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long. Place a tablespoon of cheese filling in the center of each strip and fold the dough over, sealing the edges.
  4. Shape the filled strips into bone shapes by pinching the ends and making them thicker.
Bake the Breadsticks
  1. Place the shaped breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with dried parsley before serving.
