Ingredients
  

Bread Base
  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños sliced, optional
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Butter Mixture
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, bacon, green onions, jalapeños, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Bread
  1. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  2. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Brush the melted butter over the top of the bread.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  2. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and slice into pieces to serve.
