Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk cold
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries or frozen

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Add the milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the Biscuits
  1. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and pat into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
  2. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
