Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk warm
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
Filling
  • 2 cups apples peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk and melted butter, mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Make the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the apple filling evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 8 pieces.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake and Glaze
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. While baking, whisk together the glaze ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls after baking.
