  • 1 medium Cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1/3 cup Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/31/4 cup Water
  • 1.5 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice apple vinegar
  • 12 tbsp Sriracha Sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1" Fresh ginger (finely minced)
  • 45 cloves Fresh garlic (finely minced)
  • 23 tbsp Honey or Maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water (for sauce)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Spring onions (for garnish)
  • Sliced Chilis (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the cauliflower florets.
  2. Mix rice flour, cornstarch, garlic powder (if using), water, and oil in a bowl to create a batter.
  3. Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter and place them on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While baking, combine sesame oil, light soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, Sriracha sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan over medium heat to prepare the sticky sauce.
  6. Once baked, toss the cauliflower in the sticky sauce until well-coated.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onions, and sliced chilis before serving.
