  • 10 oz frozen spinach (thawed)
  • 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 3/4 cup canned artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix thawed spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, artichokes, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry into rectangles about 15" x 12" and 1/8" thick.
  4. Spread the filling over one sheet of pastry and place another sheet on top; cut into 1" strips.
  5. Fold each strip in a zig-zag motion to create tree shapes and skewer them.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Top with Provolone stars before serving.
