  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 34 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and an egg until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle; cut into twelve rectangles.
  5. Score edges of each rectangle, fill center with cream cheese mixture, then top with pumpkin mixture.
  6. Brush edges with an egg wash (whisked egg + water).
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on wire racks and drizzle glaze made from confectioner’s sugar and milk.
