  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and kosher salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, vegetable oil, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, milk, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
  5. Prepare the streusel topping by mixing flour, sugars, and pumpkin pie spice with melted butter; sprinkle on top of the batter in the pan.
  6. Bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar and maple syrup to make the glaze; drizzle over warm bread.
