  • 12 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, shaved, shredded, or fresh grated
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and simmer until al dente (about 10 minutes).
  5. Stir in ricotta cheese until smooth, then top each bowl with mozzarella and parmesan cheese before serving.
