  • 3 cups warm water (95-110°F)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1½ tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8½ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease three 8.5″ x 4.5″ bread pans.
  2. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it froth for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Add avocado oil, salt, eggs, and half of the flour; mix using a dough hook on low speed.
  4. Gradually add the remaining flour until the dough pulls away from the bowl.
  5. Knead on medium speed for about three minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Cover the bowl and let dough rise in a warm place until doubled (30-45 minutes).
  7. Divide dough into three pieces, shape into loaves, and place in prepared pans.
  8. Brush with egg-water mixture and allow to rise again until doubled (30-45 minutes).
  9. Bake for 28-30 minutes until golden brown and an instant-read thermometer reads 195°F.
  10. Brush with melted butter upon removal from the oven and cool before slicing.
