  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy. Add the egg, yolk, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Divide dough into six portions (about half a cup each), shape into mounds, and flatten slightly.
