  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese (or cheddar, mozzarella)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Fresh thyme sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sauté sliced onions in butter and olive oil until caramelized.
