- 2–3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 4 cups fresh spinach or thawed frozen spinach
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken and spinach until well combined.
- Stir in half of the mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let cool slightly before serving.
