  • 1 lb. fresh shrimp
  • 2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dried dill or 3 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon citrus juice (fresh lemon or lime juice)
  • Salt and ground white pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot, bring water and shrimp boil seasoning to a boil. Add shrimp and cook for about 5-8 minutes until pink and opaque.
  2. Remove shrimp and chill on ice until cool, then peel, devein, and chop.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, celery, red onion, dill, and citrus juice.
  4. Fold in the seasoned shrimp until well combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
