  • 4 medium apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (plus 1 teaspoon)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 package cinnamon rolls with frosting (refrigerated)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by combining apples, sugar, water, butter, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a pot over medium heat until bubbly.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  3. In a greased pie dish, layer half of the cut cinnamon rolls at the bottom, then pour half of the apple filling over them. Repeat with remaining rolls and filling.
