  • 6 tbsp mushroom sauce
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mushroom sauce, soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sugar; set aside.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and rinse.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips; cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove chicken.
  4. In the same pan, add carrots, cabbage, and garlic; sauté until softened (3-4 minutes).
