  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pounds flank steak (excess fat trimmed)
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo
  • Guacamole
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place flank steak in a resealable bag or dish; pour marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade; discard marinade. Grill steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  5. Warm corn tortillas on a skillet until pliable. Assemble tacos with sliced steak and desired toppings.
