  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, and thyme until well combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge).
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment and lightly grease.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and place in the dish. Pour remaining marinade over chicken.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste halfway through cooking if desired.
